Forgive us O Lord God

Spare us from misfortune and forgive us

 

Forgive us for the times we have shunned You

Spare us from Thy wrath and forgive us

 

Forgive us for the times we have worshipped others and false gods

Spare us from Thy anger and forgive us

 

Forgive us for the times we have not turned away from sin and evil

Spare us from Thy wrath and forgive us

 

Forgive us for the times we have ignored our brethren in plight

Spare us from Thy anger and forgive us

 

Forgive us for the many times we have not listened to Thy Word

Spare us from Thy wrath and forgive us

 

Forgive us for the times we have not believed in You, Your Son and the Word

Spare us from Thy wrath and forgive us

 

Forgive us for the times the Church has closed its eyes and heart to the broken hearted and needy

Spare us from Thy anger and forgive us

 

Forgive us for all our sins both knowing and unknowing

Spare us from Thy wrath and forgive us

 

Forgive us for all the time we waste in temporal pleasures and things that are not good for our soul

Spare us from Thy anger and forgive us

 

Forgive us for all the time we hate, have anger, bitterness and vile thoughts

Spare us from Thy wrath and forgive us

 

Forgive us for all the times we gossip, waste in idle chatter and things not becoming of children of the Light

Spare us from Thy anger and forgive us

 

Forgive us for all the times we blaspheme Your Name, disrespect the Mother of our Lord Jesus and are against Your will

Spare us from Thy wrath and forgive us

 

Forgive us for all the times we are proud, over zealous in our ways, anxious about foolish things and sold ourselves to sin or to the evil one

Spare us from Thy anger and forgive us
