Prayer for our own Character

Lord, I come before your throne today and pray for various traits that make up my character.

 

Lord I pray you will strengthen me, make me more like you each day, let you plan unfold in my life that at every new opportunity I take I have the right attitude towards that task, the tools to be equipped to do it, the right support and to have a more long lasting commitment to serve you and call you my friend and Savior who can transform even the darkest of situations into something positive that in tern reflects on the character of God impacting on man.

 

Lord, show us elements of your character in the bible and from other biblical figures we can learn from in a real and relevant way. Lord, we give you permission to change us, mould us, shape us, and develop us in your timing have your way with us so people know you are at work in our lives today. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Prayer for our attitudes

Jesus, it's just a simple prayer today, change my attitude and raise my altitude to what I can achieve in life. I know I cannot do anything about the mistakes I have made and the bad attitudes I have had but please help me to change and have the attitude you would like to me to have and give me the courage to be able to have a better attitude towards the situations I have today and everyday. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Prayer for Spiritual Warfare

Lord, I pray for the spiritual battles that take place in our world and life today.

 

Lord, I pray you will help us over come the devil, enemy and any strong holds that will make us enter into temptation that takes us out of the will of what you have for us.

 

Jesus, we pray you have the victory and will overcome all bad things that come to test us and we pray your touch upon our lives we may discern you over any spiritual warfare as we seek to be closer to you each day.

 

We ask this as always in Jesus Name, Amen.

When The Burdens Are Heavy

Lord Jesus, I need You now so desperately
Help me in the trials I am going thru
Be the stronghold of my life, so that I don't sink
Hold me now and fill me with grace from the Divine
Lord Jesus, I need You so desperately

The cross is too heavy, the struggles too intimidating
Break the shackles of the enemy my Lord God
For he is trying to break and wear me down

I need You my Lord and God
I need You so desperately
Come Holy Spirit
Come Sweet Jesus
Come Divine Unction
Come, I need You to lift me up
Lord Jesus, I need You so desperately

Rain For Countries That Face Drought

Lord God Father, Son and Holy Spirit
We desperately need Your help
Our water supplies are so low
Everything is drying up O Lord
We are absolutely helpless without Your aid

The animals are going to die without water
The plants are dying already
Everything is drying up
The crops cannot grow
It is getting desperate Father
It is getting desperate Jesus
It is getting desperate Holy Spirit

The Nations are not on their knees turning towards You
But we stand in their place
We trust You Lord
We believe You are a kind and compassionate God
You alone are the Almighty, the Great I am
We know You are the One True Godhead
There is no other but You, so we come to You

Hear our pleas Beloved Father and Lord Jesus
Hear our cry Blessed Holy Spirit
We may just be a few that cry out to You
Or believe in You Holy Trinity
But we can stand in the gap if You will allow us
Look upon our hearts and hear the fears of all

Hear the cries of the animals, the birds, the flora and fauna
Hear the cries of the grass that is withering
Hear the fears of Your children for without enough water we are doomed
You control the heavens and the earth
Please Majestic God of Creation
Please we implore You, fill our dams and send us rain

Have mercy and compassion on the world You have created
Stir into our hearts a spirit of repentance for not seeking You
Stir into our hearts a spirit of repentance for not thanking You
Stir into our hearts a spirit of repentance for not honoring You
Stir into our hearts a spirit of repentance for living an unholy life
It is only You who can change our hearts of stone
Please forgive us O Lord

Please send rain we beg You Father, have mercy and send rain
